● External I/O signal control mode, with 24VDC
● DIP switch setting drive’s output current and motor speed
● PUL+ and PUL- signals indicate start and stop
● DIR+ and DIR- signals indicate motor running direction
● Auto-tuning for NEMA 17, 23, 24 stepper motors
The DM422-IO-24 featured in supporting DIP switches for speed controls and 24VDC for starting motor running. Like other DM series drives, it brings a unique level of system smoothness, providing optimum torque and nulls mid-range instability. The self-test and auto-configuration technology offers optimum responses with different motors and easy-to-use. The driven motors can run with much smaller noise, lower heating, smoother movement than most of the drivers on the markets. Its unique features make the DM422-IO-24 an ideal solution for applications that require low-speed smoothness.
In addition to the output current and speed values set by DIP switches, when SW1, SW2 and SW3 are all set to “on”, the output current can be set through ProTuner, and when SW5, SW6, SW7 and SW8 are all set to “on”, the motor speed can be set through ProTuner.
